Amateur Hockey Association would like to invite your Tier III/IV teams to
participate in the FAHA Annual Christmas Tournament December 26th –
January 6th. This year’s
tournament will include Tier III/IV Mites thru Bantams and Midget 18U Tier IV.
Tier III teams will play up in the next higher Tier IV division. Tier IV Mites
will play cross-ice games.
I am happy
to welcome Flint Hills Resources as our official tournament sponsor again this
year. I want to thank them for
their continued support and commitment to youth hockey in
FAHA will be
using the State Tournament type scoring again this year. This will help the coaches become
familiar with the scoring system they will see at State Tournaments, and
simplify the rules of the tournament.
I want to
thank all the ice rinks, volunteers and most importantly our sponsors for
without them we could not possibly pull a tournament of this size
together.
The deadline
for registration is Monday, December 10th. To register, a Team Roster must be
completed and returned to the FAHA office by delivery, fax 452-4406, or email faha@acsalaska.net along with a $100.00
non-refundable deposit which will be applied to the tournament fee. The remainder of the tournament fee must
be paid by Monday, December 17th. The
tournament fee for Tier IV Mite teams is $300.00 all other teams are $500.00.
The final tournament game schedule will be published on Thursday, December
