First of all, I’d like to personally thank each of you for all that you do within our program - the simple act of placing your trust in FAHA is why we're here and why we constantly strive to better our programs, and for your continued support of and vested interest in the success of our programs. Without you and your children, our purpose would be non-existent.

I realize that we all have opinions, many of them varied, and that diversity is what makes a strong group. Our General Board and our sub-committees are committed to exploring options for enhancement and betterment, recognizing the need for change when appropriate and building upon the communications and relations not only within our three programs, but with the hockey community of Interior Alaska.

We are slowly rejuvenating the FAHA mission, and I am grateful to have you on board.

On a go-forward basis, I look forward to more a more proactive approach to our challenges. This renewed energy will surely free up time to move on to the future of hockey.

As you may know, we urgently seek candidates for the VP of Northern Knights position. Please ‘spread the word’ – let folks in the community know that this position is open and that we will soon start the interview process. We will appoint an interim VP at Monday night's (10/8/07 - 6:30pm, Pike's Waterfront Lodge, open to the public) General Board meeting (as per our Bylaws, that interim position must be filled from our seated board) who will move forward as the Vice President of the Northern Knights (for up to 60 days) until a finalized candidate roster can be forwarded to the General Board for vote.
